CURRICULUM VITAE
Dr Sylvia Freygner has been a licensed attorney in Liechtenstein, Austria and Switzerland since 2007. An expert in European competition law and international tax law, Dr Sylvia Freygner has been advising clients in trademark law, vertical distribution channels, and concession and license models for over ten years. Dr Freygner is also specialized in tax arrangements for assets, companies and international licensing systems. She is currently completing the Master’s Program in International Tax Law at the University of Vaduz.
As a certified expert in fiscal criminal law, she provides clients with professional and empathetic support in sophisticated and challenging fiscal criminal matters.
For five years, Dr Sylvia Freygner has led an independent research institute in Vienna that addresses topics related to European competition, liberalization and the privatization of public services.
With the first Institute for Public Social Responsibility for government services in Europe, she initiated a new school of thought in the field of European business, competition and procurement law. The Public Social Responsibility Charta and the Public Social Responsibility Code provided the impetus for a European dialogue with stakeholders. Dr Sylvia Freygner supports the Committee of the Centre of Excellence for the Public Economy, Infrastructure and Public Service e. V. at the University of Leipzig.
In 2017, she completed the Course on Strategic Leadership run by the Austrian Ministry of the Interior.
